Postage & Packaging
We aim to get your order on its way to you as soon as possible, making sure it gets to you safe & sound. All purchases are packaged in a box or jiffy bag to protect the contents, ensuring its safe arrival.
All orders are sent by either Royal Mail or a courier service such as MyHermes & will require a signature.
If your order has been sent via Royal Mail, we will notify you by email that is has been dispatched.
If your order has been sent via a courier service you will receive an email with a link allowing you to track your order.
Below are our standard shipping fees. Please note if your order exceeds our standard shipping fees due to total weight & size of package, delivery address or value, we will notify you of any additional fees before processing your order.

Dispatch & Delivery
We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. Please make sure that your delivery address is accurate.
Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
Please leave delivery instructions at ‘Check Out’ if you are not going to be in when the delivery arrives, e.g. leave in porch, leave with neighbour. Please be precise about where you would like the goods left ensuring it is a safe place.
We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence).
We aim to dispatch your order within 3-5 working days, subject to stock availability. If we anticipate a significant delay we will notify you.
For UK & Europe deliveries please allow 3-7 working days from dispatch date for your order to reach you. For worldwide destinations please allow 7-10 working days from dispatch date. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee delivery times.
If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date will be extended by a reasonable period & we will contact you to arrange an alternative time.
We aren’t always able to anticipate demand for some of our items & there might be occasions when we’re out of stock. If this is the case please email us at email@example.com specifying ‘product name’ , ‘SKU code’ & ‘price’. We will email you to let you know when it is back in stock to re-order.
We hope you will be happy with your purchase however in the unlikely event that you are not, you may return it to us within 14 days of delivery, in its original saleable condition, packaging & with attached labels, along with proof of purchase (copy of order invoice) for an exchange or a refund.
Please include in your return –
Full name, address, contact telephone number & email address, copy of order invoice, reasons for return & specify if you would like a refund or exchange.
If you would like to exchange an item, please include the product name, SKU code, description, colour & quantity of the item you would prefer.

We strongly advise you to obtain a certificate of postage as we are unable to refund items broken or lost in transit. We recommend you return items via MyHermes or Royal Mail special delivery with insurance covered, making sure you retain proof of postage.
We are unable to cover the cost of return’s postage.
Once we have received your unused returned items an email will be sent in receipt of returns.
Any difference in price to original order will be debited or credited to your credit card accordingly. If the exchange is of greater value than the original order we will charge the difference to your credit or debit card. As we ‘The 5 Quarters’ do not hold any of your personal financial details, we will require the CVS 3 digit number on the back of your card.
Replaced items will then be dispatched within 3-5 working days & an email notification sent.
If a refund is preferred we will process this once we have received your unused & undamaged returned items. We will send you an email upon receipt of your returns. Thereafter your refund will be processed to the credit or debit card used for the purchase as soon as possible & in any event within 30 days of receipt of the return. We will notify you once the refund has been processed.
Damaged or Un-Ordered Goods
If your order has arrived damaged or not as ordered, please let us know within 24 hours via email, firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01643 822187. We will ask you to return the damaged or unordered item(s) within 7 working days. On receipt we will be happy to replace or refund your order.
Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Goods
Special or made-to-order items are non returnable & non refundable.
